Building a custom home is more than a project—it’s a dream taking shape, one sketch, question, and decision at a time. At Granite Ridge Builders, we’ve walked alongside hundreds of families just like yours, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: The journey matters just as much as the destination.
Designing and building your dream home is one of the most exciting journeys you can embark on and Granite Ridge Builders is here to guide you every step of the way. From the first sketch to the final walkthrough, our experienced team is passionate about creating a home tailored to your lifestyle, needs, and personal style. With a streamlined building process and a highly skilled Drafting team, we’re committed to making your home-building experience seamless, enjoyable, and (dare we say) a little fun.
Let’s start where every great home begins: with a vision.
The People Behind the Process
While our design process is personalized and professional, it’s the people that make the experience truly memorable.
“We are very pleased with the whole Granite Ridge process! Lucian was wonderful in coming up with a custom plan that fit our property perfectly! We were so happy to have had Mallory and Stacey help in the beginning stages of our project…We can’t wait to get into our beautiful new home!” said homeowner Joan B.
We hear this often. Because when you build with Granite Ridge, you’re not just another job on the schedule. You’re part of the family.
From Vision to Blueprint
You may not have every detail figured out—and that’s okay. Maybe you’ve saved floorplans to a Pinterest board or sketched a kitchen island on a napkin. Whether your vision is crystal clear or still forming, our Drafting Specialists are here to guide you.
Our process starts with listening. Mark Amiot, one of our experienced Drafting Specialists, knows that a great design comes from understanding how you live.
“As a designer of someone else's home, you need to be careful not to insert yourself into the design concepts,” Mark explains. “This is why I ask so many questions of them, I am designing this house for the way they live, not me. The more they know what they want, the easier it is for me to design."
Every plan is tailored. Every choice is intentional. We help you visualize so you can walk through your future home—seeing not just space, but possibility.
Solving the "What Ifs"
Custom building comes with real-world challenges: tight lots, tricky soil, HOA restrictions, must-have features, last-minute changes. It’s all part of the process—and one we’re built for.
“If there's a specific floorplan we need to meet square footage requirements or fit on a tight lot, finding a solution to the problem is always a highlight of the process,” Eric said.
We’ve designed around steep hills, utility lines, sun orientation, and even entire family routines. Need to fit a home gym, but still want a big pantry? Challenge accepted.
Your Dream. Our Blueprint. Let’s Build Together.
From the first sketch to the day you turn the key, our job is to make your custom home journey something you’ll look back on with pride and joy.
Whether you're building your forever home, downsizing with style, or finally checking off that dream wishlist—you don’t have to do it alone.
We’ll be here—with ideas, answers, and coffee.
So, what’s your dream?
Let’s start designing it today.
