Historic Maples Road Farm

Episode 266

In this Between the Studs, we’re touring the Historic Maples Road Farm, a 22.5-acre property featuring the third-oldest home in Fort Wayne. Built in the 1800s, the property has been in New Home Specialist Joy Justice’s family for seven generations and has witnessed more than a century of local and national history.

From bricks made with mud from the creek to wood harvested from the surrounding land, the home was built using resources found right on the property and so much of its original character remains today.

Even the barn has a story to tell, including an appearance on a season of The Bachelor!

Whether you can picture a bed & breakfast, hobby farm, vineyard, or simply want to own a truly unique piece of Fort Wayne history, this is a property you have to see.
